 Full Description

The PADI Rescue Diver course is one of the most
rewarding steps in a diver’s journey. Internationally recognized, it teaches
you how to prevent, recognize, and manage diving incidents, both for yourself
and others.

With included eLearning, you study the theory at
your own pace before arriving in Belle Mare, on the east coast of Mauritius.
On-site, you practice rescue techniques, emergency scenarios, and appropriate
responses to stress, panic, or loss of contact.

Training is conducted by a certified PADI
instructor in a safe environment with provided Scubapro equipment. The course
lasts 2 to 3 days, including exercises in lagoon and open water, depending on
the modules covered.

prior to the Rescue Diver course. EFR training can be arranged on site – please

⚠️ Participation Requirements

• Minimum certification: PADI Advanced Open Water (or equivalent)
• Valid EFR certification (<24 months)
• Minimum age: 12 years
• Good physical condition (medical form required)
• Completion of eLearning before practical sessions
• No diving within 24 hours before a flight
• Valid dive insurance mandatory

 Training Locations

• Belle Mare lagoon: basic exercises
• Nearby open water areas: advanced scenarios and real-life situation management
• 10 to 15 minutes by boat from the dive center

 Schedule & Duration

• Training over 2 to 3 half-days, depending on your pace and weather
• Start times at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, Monday to Saturday
• 6 to 8 practical modules + simulated rescue scenarios
• Expect 4 to 5 hours per day
