The PADI Deep Diver specialty lets you experience
the unique thrill of deep diving and extend your limits down to 40 meters. This
course is perfect for certified divers eager to explore dramatic walls, deep
wrecks, or pelagic life, while following strict safety standards.

The activity takes place on Mauritius’s east
coast, in Belle Mare — a renowned area for its clear waters, pristine reefs,
and diverse underwater terrain, quickly accessible by boat. The course includes
4 deep dives spread over 2 days, preceded by an eLearning module you can
complete online at your own pace before arrival.

 Course Objectives

• Plan and conduct safe deep dives

 Course Content

1. PADI Deep Diver eLearning (personal access provided)
2. Technical briefings before each dive
3. 4 deep sea dives on varied sites around Belle Mare
4. Practical exercises: controlled descents, buoyancy, safety
5. Educational debriefs after each dive

 Participation Requirements

• Certified Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
• Minimum age: 15 years
• Good physical condition (medical form required)
• Valid dive insurance mandatory
• No diving within 24 hours before a flight

 Schedule & Duration

• Duration: 2 consecutive days
• 2 deep dives per day
• Start times: 8:30 AM or 10:30 AM
• Each session lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours (welcome, briefing, dive, return)
• Dive sites about 10 minutes by boat from Belle Mare beach

• Deep sandy plateaus for technical exercises
